Baseball Player of the Week
CJ Brito-Trinidad, Bowdoin
Brito-Trinidad helped the Polar Bears sweep Tufts for the first time since 2012. Brito-Trinidad batted .538 in the three-game set, hit a walk-off home run to win game one on Friday, delivered the go-ahead two-run double in game two on Saturday, and went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in game three. For the weekend, he went 7-for-13 with four runs scored and five RBI with an extra base hit in every game.

Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Nick Giattino, Amherst
Giattino threw a complete-game (7 inning) no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Trinity Saturday. He faced only two batters over the minimum, issued one walk, and struck out nine batters.

Softball Player of the Week
Angelina Mayers, Bowdoin
Mayers batted .667 and slugged 1.250 as the Polar Bears won two of three games versus Bates. Mayers went 8-for-12, homered twice in three games, scored five runs, and posted nine RBI. The third baseman is batting .395 with a 1.097 OPS and team-high 30 hits this spring.

Softball Pitcher of the Week
Dani Torres Werra, Amherst
Torres Werra went 2-0 in a 3-1 week for the Mammoths, throwing Amherst’s first perfect game since Lauren Peloquin ‘02 accomplished the feat 1999-2001. In an 8-0 win over Springfield, Torres Werra retired all 21 batters she faced and did not allow a base runner. She struck out six and retired 14 batters on fly balls. In her next start she threw a complete-game victory against NESCAC East Division leader Trinity, matching her season-high of eight strikeouts while allowing eight hits and two runs. She finished 2-0 with 1.00 ERA and a 0.57 WHIP.

Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Brock Gonzalez, Amherst
Gonzalez posted 11 points (9 goals, 2 assists) in a 2-0 week for the Mammoths, who are riding a three-game win streak after wins over Connecticut College (15-13) and Williams (14-10). In the road win over the Camels, Gonzalez scored six goals and added two assists. In the third quarter he scored four goals, three consecutive, that moved Amherst from down two goals to an 8-7 lead. All three of his goals against Williams came at the end of the first quarter and the opening minutes of the second, lifting the Mammoths out of a 4-3 deficit and into a 7-5 lead.

Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Jane Earley, Middlebury
Earley led all players with seven points in a 13-5 victory over Colby helping Middlebury extend its win streak to 38 consecutive victories. Earley tallied a career-high six goals to go along with one assist, as the Panthers snapped the Mules’ 10-game winning streak and handed Colby its first conference loss of the year. Earley leads the conference in points (56) and goals (45).
