NESCAC Men's Squash All-NESCAC Awards Announced

HADLEY, Mass. – Trinity sophomore Mohamed Sharaf has been selected as the 2022 NESCAC Player of the Year by the conference coaches. Sharaf is the seventh Bantam to earn the honor since 2008. He finished the season with a 16-2 record playing at the No. 2 position on the Trinity ladder.
 
Trinity teammate Marwan ElBolorossey has been named the NESCAC Rookie of the Year and is the sixth Bantam to earn the honor. ElBorolossey played at No. 3 in the lineup and went 10-5 in dual matches. Sharaf and ElBolorossey helped the Bantams win their 15th straight NESCAC Championship with an 8-1 victory over No. 3 Bowdoin.
 
Bowdoin head coach Theo Woodward was selected as the NESCAC Coach of the Year by his peers. He garners the honor for the second time in his career after leading the Polar Bears to NESCAC Runner-Up honors and their first appearance in the championship match. Bowdoin advanced to the finals following wins over No. 6 Colby (6-3) and No. 7 Middlebury (7-2).
