NESCAC Summer Spotlight: Frank Stola - Williams

It will be 12 months later than he wanted it to be, but Williams College senior wide receiver Frank Stola will continue his assault on the Ephs' record books in September.

When we last saw the Northport, N.Y. native, Stola was completing a junior year (2019) in which he nearly rewrote the entire Williams receiving record book. He tied the record for most catches in a single game with 13 versus Tufts and in the same game set the Eph record for touchdown catches in a game with four. Later in the season, he set the single-season touchdown record with 12 catches.

Stola's production elevated him to the all-time leader in career touchdown catches at Williams with 27 and is also the all-time leader in receiving yards with 2,123. Stola finished the 2019 season with 38 receptions for 768 yards over eight games and hauled in 12 touchdowns. He also had 13 punt returns for 113 yards, including a 38-yard return for a score, and nine kick-off returns for 224 yards. He was selected as a First Team All-NESCAC selection at wide receiver for his efforts.

A history major at Williams, Stola spent the summer of 2021 working an internship at Mind-Design Sports, a New Jersey based company that provides monthly blog posts and podcasts with professional guest speakers specifically for teenagers and kids to perform optimally. Mind-Design is the only organization operated by teenagers worldwide. In the fall of 2020, Stola also did an internship with SportsHosts, a website aimed at building a global community of sports fans.
