Roeca scored the lone goal, 5:53 into the third quarter, in Tufts’ 1-0 victory over Middlebury. The win gave Middlebury its first loss of the season and ended the Panthers’ 20-game unbeaten streak.


Joe Braun, Tufts Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Braun had a hand in both Jumbo goals in their 2-1 win over Middlebury. He assisted the game-tying goal in the 81st minute and scored the game-winner in the 98th minute. Braun is tied for the team lead in goals (4) while leading the team in assists (5) and points (13).

Sophia Lemmer, Bowdoin Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Sophia Lemmer, Bowdoin
Senior • Defender • Norwalk, Conn.

Lemmer scored the overtime game-winning goal to give the Polar Bears their first win over Williams since 2005. It was just the fourth goal of the defender’s career at Bowdoin, but her third career game-winner.

Gray led the Polar Bears to a pair of key NESCAC road wins, notching a career-high 19 kills with six blocks in a win at Middlebury before posting a match-high nine kills with seven blocks in a three set sweep at Amherst. For the week, Gray averaged 4.00 kills and 1.86 blocks per set while hitting .458.
