HADLEY, Mass. - Due to high winds at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) National Invitational Rowing Championship at Dorchester Park in Whitney Park, N.Y., the event was cancelled prior to the completion of the varsity eight races. Because of this, the 2007 NESCAC Rowing Champions were determined by the New England Rowing Championship (NERC) results that occurred at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass., on May 6. The Trinity Men's Rowing team was crowned the 2007 NESCAC Champion for the third year in a row after the Bantams recorded a time of 6:02.692 in the varsity eight grand final. The Williams Women's Rowing team secured its second-straight NESCAC title and third overall with a 6:58.624 time in the varsity eight grand final.

The Williams women earn the NESCAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Championship Regatta at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn. on May 25 through 27. The Ephs won last year's NCAA Rowing Championship.
