Horowitz, Bowdoin (Sophomore - Stow, Mass.) Horowitz won the State of Maine championship at Pineland Farms on Saturday for the second year in a row. He completed the 8-kilometer course in 25:53, six seconds ahead of the next closest runner. Bowdoin finished second at the 12-team meet with 43 points. |

Del Piccolo, Williams (Sophomore - Basalt, Colo.) Del Piccolo had the top time at the Little Three Championships hosted by the Ephs on Saturday, as she won the 5-kilometer course by four seconds in a time of 18:25. Williams won the annual meet with a score of 20 points. |

Rand, Tufts (Junior - Cape Elizabeth, Maine) Rand was the top Division III runner at the annual New England Cross Country Championships at Franklin Park in Boston on Saturday. Rand placed sixth overall with a time of 24:55 on the 7.97-kilometer course. Tufts finished the 43-team race in eighth. |

Lambert, Amherst (Junior - Amherst, Mass.) Lambert placed seventh at the annual New England Cross Country Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, recording a time of 17:59 on the 5-kilometer course. She was the top finisher among Division III competitors. Amherst took 10th among the 39-team field. |

Hannan, Bates (Sophomore - West Hartford, Conn.) Hannan was the top NESCAC runner at the annual Codfish Bowl at Franklin Park in Boston. Finishing sixth overall, Hannan recorded a time of 25:56 on the 8-kilometer course. Bates won the 26-team event with 49 points. |

Lambert, Amherst (Junior - Amherst, Mass.) Lambert won the Purple Valley Classic, hosted by Williams, on Saturday. She completed the 6-kilometer course in a time of 22:00. |

Rand, Tufts (Junior - Cape Elizabeth, Maine) Rand came away with individual honors at the Maine Invitational hosted by Bowdoin over the weekend, as he placed first with a time of 25:05.9 over the 8-kilometer course. The Jumbos also took the team title with 35 points. |

Cramer, Middlebury (Senior - Seattle, Wash.) Cramer placed first at the Aldrich Invitational over the weekend, named in honor of former Panther head coach Terry Aldrich, who retired last fall. Cramer traversed the 5-kilometer course in a time of 18:46.7. |

Schmidt, Middlebury (Senior - Wilmette, Ill.) Schmidt placed 12th out of 53 runners at the Dartmouth Invitational this past Saturday, covering the 7.25 kilometer course in a time of 22:49, 49 seconds off the winning time. The Panthers finished third at the four-team meet. |

Dewdney, Colby (Junior - Chester, Vt.) Dewdney placed first in the Junior/Senior race at the Class Relays hosted by Bates over the weekend. She finished the 4.5 kilometer course in a time of 17:10, as the Mules bested the Bobcats at the meet. |
