Williams Season Ends with 2-1 Overtime Loss to MIT in NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Williams College men's soccer team (13-2-2) had its 15-game unbeaten streak snapped today as the Ephs fell in overtime to the Engineers of MIT (17-2-1) by a final score of 2-1. The Ephs took a 1-0 advantage in the 72nd minute of play, but the Engineers came right back 4:19 seconds later to even it up. Nick Nestle, who scored the equalizer in regulation, came back in overtime to send home the game-winner a scant 3:08 into the first sudden-death overtime period. Williams played without their best player, 2-time NESCAC Player of Year Khari Stephenson, a senior, who is playing with the Jamaican National Olympic team at the moment.
