    NESCAC Final: No. 1 Amherst 41, No. 2 Tufts 37 The top-seeded Amherst College women's basketball team used a 21-point third quarter to help secure a hard-fought, 41-37 victory over second-seeded Tufts University to clinch the 2016-17 NESCAC Championship title Sunday afternoon at LeFrak Gymnasium.

    Tufts Seeks First NESCAC Men's Basketball Title Top-seeded Tufts will host the remaining rounds of the 2017 NESCAC Men’s Basketball Championship for the first time in program history this weekend at Cousens Gymnasium. Tournament play will continue with a pair of semifinals on Saturday, February 25. The opening game of the doubleheader will feature Tufts versus sixth-seeded Williams at 2 p.m. That game will be followed by a match-up between second-seeded Middlebury and fifth-seeded Trinity at 4 p.m. Semifinal winners will square off in the conference final on Sunday at noon with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament at stake.

    Amherst Looks to Repeat as NESCAC Women's Basketball Champions Top-seeded Amherst looks to win its second straight league championship when it hosts the remaining rounds of the 2017 NESCAC Women’s Basketball Championship this weekend at LeFrak Gymnasium. Saturday’s doubleheader gets underway when host Amherst takes on fifth-seeded Colby at 2 p.m. Second-seeded Tufts will square off against third-seeded Bowdoin at 4 p.m. in the other semifinal game. Advancing teams will vie for the conference championship on Sunday at noon with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

    NESCAC Women's Ice Hockey Championship Seeding Released Middlebury captured the top seed in the upcoming 2017 NESCAC Women’s Ice Hockey Championship following a 5-3 win over Williams on Saturday night. The Panthers, who are the No. 1 seed for the seventh straight season, will be looking for their ninth conference title when quarterfinal action starts on Saturday, February 25. Connecticut College, Hamilton and Trinity have also earned the right to host quarterfinal round contests.

The Continentals will begin pursuit of their first conference crown when quarterfinal round action commences on Saturday, February 25. Colby, Trinity and Williams have also earned the right to host quarterfinal contests.

    NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving Championships Head to Wesleyan Williams will be in pursuit of its 15th straight and 16th overall conference crown when the 2017 NESCAC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships take place this weekend at the Wesleyan Natatorium on the campus of Wesleyan University. The three-day meet starts on Friday with preliminary heats in the morning and championship events in the evening.
