Kellen Hatheway Williams College

Hatheway had at least one hit in all five games in a 3-2 week for the Ephs. He batted .500 (11-for-22) with two doubles and a home run while driving in eight runs, scoring six times and stealing four bases. He had a .560 on-base percentage for the week and slugged .727. He registered 14 assists and 11 putouts at shortstop.

Dan DePaoli Hamilton College
Junior • Brewster, N.Y.
DePaoli tossed his first career complete-game shutout in a 3-0 win against Bowdoin in a non-league game in Florida on March 20. In his only appearance of the week, DePaoli struck out a career-high 10 batters and walked just three batters.

Brett Kujala Bowdoin College
Junior • Attack • Maple Ridge, British Columbia
Kujala was outstanding in a pair of one-goal road wins against NESCAC opponents last week, racking up 14 points (including 10 goals). At Middlebury, Kujala scored four times and assisted on three others, cashing in on a pair of man-up scores in Bowdoin’s double-overtime win. At Williams, he scored six goals on seven shots and assisted on another in a one-goal victory.

Annie Glenn Bowdoin College
Senior • Midfield • Salt Lake City, Utah
Glenn played a big role in a pair of league wins for the Polar Bears last weekend, including handing Middlebury its first loss of the 2017 campaign. Glenn scored three goals against the Panthers, including the go-ahead goal late in the second half and the overtime game-winner. She also added a goal and an assist in a 14-5 win over Williams on Thursday.
Softball Player of the Week
Allison Rutz Bowdoin College
First Year • Pitcher/Outfield • Essex Junction, Vt.
Rutz batted .500 last week, keying a 7-1 week for the Polar Bears to close out their Florida trip. In eight games, Rutz collected 14 hits and 10 RBI, while reaching base at a .517 clip. She had six multi-hit games and also went 2-0 in the circle with a 0.44 ERA.
Softball Pitcher of the Week
Emily Griffin Bowdoin College
Senior • Tucson, Ariz.
Griffin collected three wins in the circle for the Polar Bears last week, sparking a six-game winning streak to end the team’s Florida trip. She allowed just one earned run in 14.0 innings pitched (0.50 ERA), earning two wins in starts and one victory in relief while striking out 14 batters and permitting just 12 hits. She also batted .407 for the week, scoring eight runs and collecting four stolen bases.
Men's Track Performer of the Week
Blake Coolidge Tufts University
Senior • Great Falls, Va.
Coolidge was the top Division III runner in the 100 and 200-meter races. Finished third in the 100-meters with a school record time of 10.81 seconds. Added a second-place finish in the 200-meters (21.91 seconds) to help Tufts win the PLNU Invitational.
Women's Track Performer of the Week

First Year • Washington, D.C.
Powell won the 400-meter race with a time of 56.86 seconds and anchored the Ephs’ 4x400 relay team that posted a time of 3:54.41. Williams won the PLNU Invitational to open the season.
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Magnus Herwyer Williams College
First Year • Carrboro, N.C.
Herwyer won the discus and shot put events at the PLNU Invitational to lead the Ephs to a third-place finish. Posted marks of 46.56 meters in the discus and 16.63 meters in the shot put.
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Candice Dyce Williams College
Senior • Cambria Heights, N.Y.
Dyce took first place in the triple jump and long jump at the PLNU Invitational to help Williams win the meet. Posted a mark of 11.89 meters in the triple jump and registered a leap of 5.63 meter in the long jump.
