Cole netted the game-winning goal 3:09 into overtime to lift No. 3 Trinity to a 3-2 victory over top-seeded Hamilton and repeat as NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Champions. Cole also scored a goal in the semifinal win over Williams after Trinity trailed 2-0, ending the Ephs’ momentum and igniting a four-goal run.

Neuburger stopped 39 out of 41 combined shots she faced in goal as the Panthers won their ninth NESCAC title. After making nine stops on Saturday against Bowdoin, Neuburger made 30 saves in the championship game win over Amherst, allowing just one goal.
Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week
Michael Fahey Williams College
Senior • Attack • Manhasset, N.Y.
Fahey registered three of his six points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning goal with 7:27 remaining, and also assisted on four goals to help the Ephs open the 2017 season with a 15-12 win over Trinity Sunday. Fahey also collected three ground balls in the victory.

Horst was terrific in Wesleyan’s season-opener against Bates as she scored two goals, including the game-winner with 1:00 remaining in overtime, and dished out one assist for three points. She added two draw controls and one caused turnover.
